Chris Librizzi CFI, CFEI, CVFI is a native of Pittsfield, Ma and graduate of Becker College and Merrimack College in Massachusetts. Chris started his career with Progressive Insurance in Florida and Rhode Island as an Adjuster, Property Damage Appraiser, SIU – Fire Investigator for 13 years, before becoming a full time Firefighter/EMT Cardiac with the Warwick, RI Fire Department in 2005. Chris continued his career in insurance with Nationwide Insurance for 7 years as a Liability Adjuster and Fire Investigator. Chris is in his 16th year with the Warwick Fire Department and for the past 10 years has also been employed with Narragansett Bay Insurance Company as a Large Loss Adjuster and Fire Investigator handling all fire claims in MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, DE, VA . Chris hold licenses in all of the previous states including the states of NH, FL and NC.
Chris became certified as a Fire Investigator in 1996 out of the NY State Fire Academy and certified as a CFEI (Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator) with the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), as well as a (CVFI) Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator with NAFI. Chris holds the designation of (CFI) Certified Fire Investigator with the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).
Chris is Chairman of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation RI Golf Classic and has helped raise 2 million dollars in his 20 years with the JDRF event. He coaches high school hockey and lacrosse, is married to his wife of 31 years, and has a son and daughter.
