Steven L. Day is a professional engineer for NEFCO Fire Investigations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from the University of Maine. Mr. Day has over 29 years of experience in the design and forensic analysis of electro-mechanical and industrial systems. He was a lead electrical controls engineer at a medium-size consulting engineering firm in the power industry and the lead sustaining forensic engineer at an OEM facility. Mr. Day is a member of IEEE, the president of the Wolfeboro Energy Committee, and a past president of the Maine Association of Engineers.
